Green Sheep Studios

Green Sheep Studios is an

open studio of weaving and fiber arts. On any given day you may find artists weaving on floor looms, tapestry weaving, hand dying fabrics, sewing, creating felted objects, and so much more.

 

Thursdays are our throwback to Susan's roots. Her ancestors were from Baden-Wurtemberg, Germany. This is the Black Forest area and is legendary for their weaving schools and textile arts. On Thursdays we celebrate this ancestoral homeland with Donnerstag Demos. Donnerstag is German for "Thursday". On Donnerstags artists at Green Sheep Studios demonstrate techniques in fiber arts. For example, on one Donnerstag you might observe demonstrations nano felting, needle felting, handweaving, tablet weaving, spinning on a wheel, drop spinning, or dying, just to name a few.
